Five new entities have signed the Statement for a Responsible Space Sector in March, marking an important step forward for sustainable and responsible practices in the space industry. The signatories joined during three major international space events, highlighting the growing momentum behind this initiative across the global community.

At Space-Comm London on 5 March 2026, several organisations formalised their commitment. These included SaxaVord Spaceport, represented by Chief Operating Officer Debbie Strang; Bercella, with Davide Solaroli, Head of Sales and Business Development for Space; and GraySpace Policy and Regulatory Consulting, represented by Managing Director Sagar Singamsetty.

A few days later, during the ESA Future Space Transportation Spring Session 2026 on 9 March 2026, EcoDeltaV Sàrl joined the Statement. The company was represented by its co-founders, Marnix Verkammen and Jan-Steffen Fischer, underlining their shared commitment to advancing responsible innovation in the sector.

The momentum continued at Paris Space Week 2026 on 11 March 2026, where COSPAR (Committee on Space Research) was among the new signatories. The organisation was represented by its Vice-President, Catherine Cesarsky.

These new signatories reflect a diverse range of actors- from spaceports and engineering companies to policy consultancies and international organisations - all united in their support for a more responsible and sustainable space sector. Their engagement demonstrates the increasing recognition that collaboration and shared principles are essential to ensuring the long-term viability of space activities.
